I get a call from two great friends of mine: “Ethan, we decided screw the big wedding... we want to Elope! Would you come out to Denver for the weekend and capture our celebration for a few days?”
Needless to say, it didn’t take much convincing.
We arrived at Hotel Teatro first thing in the morning on 07-07-17. Time to get ready!
While Kaci got ready, Cody and I headed downstairs for a morning cocktail.

My friends decided to do a first look in the Hotel. It was a perfect spot and the light was gold!
AND how have I not brought up how cool Kaci’s wedding dress is. It was bold, shiny, and frikkin cool!
We would be going to the Botanical Gardens, a Tattoo Shop, Liquor Store, Graffiti Alleys, and an off-road adventure to the Continental divide the day after. It was an absolutely epic weekend. Kaci and Cody were the elopement newlyweds, and were just amazing all weekend. Anyone could see their love, friendship, and genuine desire for each other. Thanks you two for showing us what a great relationship is all about!
Denver Botanical Gardens Denver, Co
The Denver Botanical Garden was filled with a plethora of every flower imaginable. You could spend an entire day walking the grounds. We had other plans to attend too.
Next stop: The Tattoo Parlor. Kaci and Cody both inked the number 7 on their ring fingers to signify their marriage date of 07-7-17.
After only a brief session of tattoo pain, Kaci and Cody needed some refreshments, so there we are truckin’ on over to the Liquor Store.
Once the days events were finished, we headed to a beautiful resort about an hour away.
The next day we woke up, hopped in the jeep, and cruised up a trail to the continental divide.
As you can see, it was surely a memorable and adventurous few days. I feel so honored to have the opportunity to capture such monumental times in people’s lives.
I love what I do.
I wouldn’t do anything else.
Thanks Yall! We are at 12K Feet in this image!
